Hi my loves! I hope you are enjoying your weekend, so far! For this blog post, you are in for a real treat. Would you like a hint? Well here it is. What is a good summer season without a mini road trip? Growing up, I made so many great memories with my family driving up north towards Lake Michigan. We would go horseback riding, swimming, and spend good quality time out in nature. Well, without further ado, let’s get right to it. In this blog post, I’m going to give you A Day In My Life style sneak peek into our trip to Munsell Farms Sunflower Field. This was my first time ever going to a sunflower field. I can’t wait to share with you what we explored, and a piece of Pure Michigan. Enjoy!
I styled my look by wearing my favorite black and white striped off-the-shoulders maxi dress. It comes complete with sewn in shorts that allow for modesty while showcasing the symmetrical peek-a-boo slits on either side of the front of the dress. It was SO incredibly hot the day of our road trip…hitting upwards of 90 degrees. This outfit was ethereal and whimsical! The perfect lightweight outfit to stay cool, and feel pretty. I loved being able to flow and move freely.

I didn’t forget my new Lauren Conrad wide-brimmed straw hat to complete this ensemble. It brings a playful look to the table, while also keeping the sun perfectly off of my face. This hat is accessorized with black ribbon and a small gold heart embellishment on the side. So chic!

What’s better than frolicking through a field filled with sunflowers kissed by the sun? I felt all of my cares melt away while at this farm. It was so peaceful, and a nice getaway from the hustle and bustle of day-to-day life.

Well, that’s it! Our road trip to the sunflower field. The Munsell Farms was only about a 1.5 hour ride that transported us to what felt like another world.
